This is a list of ideas I ongoingly come up with as I play the game to perhaps give some inspiration to the developers. I will update over time.
_____________ 1. Remove the feature: "Identify" Remove un-identification from the game completely and allow item filters to encompass all items. Items that are currently unidentified remain as such, and wisdom scrolls become legacy as well. Item filters should be able to filter every single item in the game down to every modifier, and modifier value. You can now find 100% exactly every item you want without a single trash result. I would think you could use the new Market Panel to create the code to allow absolute exact item drop values in item filters. This will give the community a tool to master for years to come. It's practically Path of Exile 2.5 2. Press (/ + Right Shift) hotkey while mousing over an item to open in "The Market" panel (Items linked in chat can also be opened) 3. Feature Recovery: Topic: Noticeboard: Adjust the Noticeboard in all acts. Show all parties in every act, with a ui change to specify which act the party was made in. Allowing you to see and feel more of the community. The feature has always needed this change. Diablo 2 game lobby with a list of games you can join and interact with other people in that game. Noticeboard in Path of Exile can be like that. Allow the Noticeboard to be placed in hideouts for players to actively check for new opportunities. 4. Feature Recovery: Topic: Spectate: Allow players to send invitations to other players to spectate them, allowing your screen to display what theirs is displaying exactly as it works in PVP, but globally. 5. New Item Type: Charms: In Diablo 2, you can find an item called a Charm that when you have it in your inventory it applies its effect, like gear, the draw back to this is less inventory space. All item-based ARPG should have this feature. Diablo 2 is the only one to ever do it. Every single one you find has immediate potential value. One idea for them is to grant new types of improved item drops, differing from iiq and iir. I also would suggest instead of making charms magic/rare/unique, make them set items, similar to diablo 3, or diablo 2, but for charms instead of gear. Charms cannot be traded. Charms can be crafted. 6. Settings: UI Option: The orbs of life and mana to be enabled/disabled in settings. Dropdown box for mix of options. 7. Upgrade any tab to Merchant Tab. So all special tabs can be upgraded to function as merchant tabs, instead of just the default 12x12 stash tab. 8. Ctrl + Shift with a currency on cursor, such as blacksmiths whetstone to apply max in one click. 9. Options >/ Notifications >/ Disable Faustus Notifications. 10. Use a Vaal orb on a Vaal Orb to have a chance to create an Apex Vaal Orb. Odds are the same as six linking. Vaal Orb ascending 11. Add a research center for Kingsmarch to maintain and improve your town on a scale similar to characters and atlas tree. 12. Feature: QoL: Kingsmarch "Take All" button inspired my idea to add a "Move all items in inventory to the stash's affinities. 13. Hotkey to Lock items. Functions like a Skin Transfer MTX (Prevents an item from being able to be destroyed, traded, vendored, or dropped; to protect items from mistakes. 14. MTX information for map devices such as, monster kills and a timer should also allow the counter that is displayed while in the map even if you're using the default map device instead of the MTX.
