no Essence drop from Boss

the Boss was influenced by a bunch of Essences from "crystal resonance" but dont drop any Essence after killing

I'm assuming the essences were high enough to show on your loot filter? Crystal Resonance also has the line where it replaces all the essences with a random one on the monster when vaal orbed so it's not impossible they just had a lot of wailing essences.
Next possibility is explode, but at first glance I'm not seeing any sources of explode. |

I had checked it with "showing all items"
