Invisible / Invincible Monsters
|
Bug Report ID: #2,219,209,481
2 monsters in a T16.5 dunes map. Only health bars visible. They show as partially damaged, but attacks dont seem to hurt them and they are the only thing in the map that does any significant damage. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” Last bumped on Nov 29, 2025, 3:36:16 PM

They are breach monsters. My breach is already closed.
https://imgur.com/a/iSX5Ray Update: they arent entirely invincible. I cleared the entire blight with the 2 of them chasing me around, tens of millions of dps deleting everything else, and at the end, 1 of them was left, still at half a health bar. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” Last edited by Piousqd#0073 on Nov 23, 2025, 4:10:06 PM

I just encountered something strange with breach, maybe different I'm not sure there where any invisible mobs, however, I was near a breach hive and was attacking mobs about aura distance away from the entry, then suddenly I loaded into the breach. Inside the hive I could see just a couple of enemies, which I was attacking, but they seemed to be taking very little, if any damage, then I encountered what seemed similar to desync. Been 10 year since I've encountered desync in POE.
I left the map and did not investigate further, as HC, unsure if any mobs were invisible, I don't use health on enemies, but it did seem for a short instant that they were not taking damage. My build doesn't have much damage, but this was a t5 map with no mods and they were normal rarity breach enemies. I expect them to take noticeable damage when hit multiple times. I'd just completed a full hive on a red map. Maybe not completely related, but the not taking damage seems similar. I've had no bugs with breach this league prior to this and have been playing since launch. I've had one disconnect, but other than that no connection problems, or anything like this in recent time. Maybe was just desync, but even that is unusual since a long time ago. This seemed related to breach, may not of been, but was only during interaction with the hive. In T17 maps these seem to be very common.
One way to get rid of them is to move them in a corner of the map, logout, then re-enter the map without visiting the corner where you parked them. Quite annoying, but at least they don't deal a lot of damage. |
