Help: Game on Steam can't find my GPU

I have tried updating my drivers and I installed the independent launcher which works, however I can't login using the independent launcher because the email link on my account doesn't work either. I have tried multiple times with different emails and never received any email. So I guess my only option is figuring out Steam. Any suggestions would be great!

" It is not giving an error message it is just not detecting my GPU at all and running on my CPU instead at like 5 FPS. Sorry for the lack of clarity, I am trying to connect an email for the first time ever and I am just not receiving any sort of email notification to verify. |
