Fix EU servers. These are apparently still bad.

Edit: This is a Feedback thread. It was moved by support to "Technical Support".
Its a recurring problem during EU evening times. Like now. The evidence(*) suggests that its(**) the servers and not the connection with the client or the client or the client ISP. (*) Just did a lab run. Some instances/room were bad, others good. In order to test whether it was the instance or the connection which was bad I switched many times between one bad and one good instance/room. The bad instance/room was always bad and the good instance/room was always good. (**) There may also be connection based problems. However this currently recurring problem apparently is not. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle! Last edited by Zrevnur#2026 on Nov 20, 2025, 5:07:31 PM Last bumped on Nov 20, 2025, 5:30:55 PM

So tried various other EU servers, all were bad. Remember at least Milan, Frankfurt, Paris being bad.
Then I switched to Washington, 2 more lab runs and no such issues there. Unfortunately >100 ping so it plays quite sluggish/unresponsive. But this is still better than how EU is now. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

So I did one more lab run. I first tried EU server which was ok in town & hideout, when I did go to the lab Plaza it got bad. So I logged out and switched to Washington. Did go back to Plaza which was still on EU server. However now the weird thing was that the whole lab was instanced to the EU server instead of to Washington?
(And no I didnt somehow mistake me logging in to Washington. Afterwards other instances including towns also correctly instanced to Washington.) No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Apparently this is an issue since patch last night, as some people in Facebook groups for PoE are reporting Texas and DC servers being awful since patch 3.27.0d, my experience on EU (Frankfurt/Amsterdam/Milan) is unfortunately the same. Latency is going all over the place between 34 and 500ms and the only thing making this remotely playable is I play RF, hence I really don't need to do a lot. Otherwise, this would be god-awful!
I will try DC to see how it is, but this is obviously not sustainable, so can GGG acknowledge and try to fix this, so we don't end up in another months-long limbo of servers making PoE experience nerve-debilitating? |

I dont know if GGG needs Technical Support but I totally dont see how any Technical Support on my side could possible fix broken instances. Im going to edit OP to make it clear that its a Feedback thread. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Speaking as someone who used to work in the industry (albeit, never for GGG), the reason forums have different sections is so that staff know where to look.
The Feedback and Suggestions section is largely / entirely for Community Managers to comb through seeking feedback on different topics, categorising it, and then the designers and any other relevant stakeholders (producers; QA) to discuss it in a meeting at some point in future. GGG are likely to have viewed this thread as being off-topic for that forum section, in that they have never decided to have bad servers or bad service providers - so they're not going to sit around in a design meeting and discuss whether they should revert that decision. Any staff working there who are responsible for managing servers and reaching out to various service providers are only likely to monitor this section - and so the moderator likely thought they were doing you a favour when moving it here (and they were likely correct, too). GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
