sealed vault

I heard many players say that entry of sealed vault requires the item idol of estazunti.

Did GGG recently changed the requirement to just using a T6 or higher waystone?

Both are required. The idol and a waystone of at least tier 6.
The idol thing used to be mentioned, but not anymore.
I believe it still asks for the idol if you try to activate it with just a waystone in though.
