Is there an example of what you're trying to achieve you could point us towards?
My assumption would be that they had uploaded an animated .GIF image file to Imgur. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

My achieve is put video with autoplay in post / guide, like guys did here:

I don't think you should use this, as the video controls at the bottom of your source file make it look messy, but here;
