I'm having route and connection problems on the São Paulo server
I've been having problems with my ping on the São Paulo server for two weeks. It fluctuates a lot, going up to 10,000, 15, 20,000, sometimes even disconnecting from the game. Most of the time, the character moves and stops, moves and stops. It's unbearable to play this way. I've already contacted my internet provider and they've done all the tests and there's nothing wrong with my internet and that it could be a routing problem with the game server in São Paulo. I'd like to know how to solve the problem and be able to play smoothly without lag.

" It probably IS a routing issue but you need to run something like WinMTR to identify the location of the problem. This server location has had thousands of reported routing issues. If it is truly a routing issue a solid ISP would be able to identify the issue and reach out to the problem host or partner to fix the issue or possibly reroute traffic. Unfortunately, most players that hear the above are unwilling to put forth the effort and just accept the issue or complain here expecting a magical GGG solution which isn't going to happen. A free VPN can be used to troubleshoot a potential routing issue, but usually provides worse performance than a proper connection. Below are GGG's WinMTR instructions... follow them closely.
WinMTR
This is what GGG recommends: Ensure to do this when the lag, high ping, packet loss, or connection issues are happening. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789 After running this test per the instructions please link the URL of the pastebin back here The instructions are the same for PoE2, just locate the file in the appropriate installation folder. " Were you having these high ping issues when you ran this test? I see only 1 packet lost at the end of the run and no high ping issues. |

Yes, during the test my ping went up a lot, I have images here, but I don't know how to attach them to this post

How to post an image

![]() ![]() ![]() As you can see in the images, these are screenshots I took during the test, just to make it clear that it is like this all the time, the connection is totally unstable, I already called my provider and they did tests and say it is not with them, I already tested using VPN, I used EXITLAG and during the use of exit lag I feel that there is an improvement, there is a more constant fluidity without oscillating like in the images, but I want to make it clear that even during the use of a VPN like exitlag, the PING still fluctuates and goes up for a few moments, I don't know what to do anymore, I just wanted to be able to play normally like everyone else without lag, just like I always played on the BR SÃO PAULO server. |

You might want to run a few more tests to determine where the problem you're seeing in the graph is actually starting.
