Omen of the liege not guaranteeing Amanamu mods

Well, either that or Amanamu has a bunch of standard mods replicated.

I tested with two preserved jawbones on Sceptres, Omen's were consumed so a valid craft.

In both reveals all 3 affixes were from normal mod pool. + max mana, + spirit, mana regeneration rate etc.

Both weapons had an open prefix and suffix.

So only conclusion i can draw is either its bugged and not working at all, OR a large amount of normal mods have been added to Amanamu's pool of affixes to water it down a bit to prevent too many good items being made.

Maybe "guarantee" needs to be replaced with "possibility".

Or I'm misunderstanding something, in which case help me out please.

I'm not sure, but it seems like there are no special desecrated mods on the sceptres.

according to craft of exile there's a reservation efficency suffix, but its the only amanamu affix. That'd make the Omen pretty OP, so i wasnt surprised it didnt work but I do wonder what it actually does.

Maybe its just not enabled so it picks some random thing. If thats the case though, they should disable its compatibility with weapons (or at least sceptres) and update the description (again).
There aren't any sceptres with reservation efficiency on trade, and poe2db also says there are no desecrated mods. I think Craft of Exile is mistaken.
Yeah i took a closer look and if you click on the mod it says its "drop only". Nothing drops desecrated equipment afaik (maybe lich'd rogue exiles??) so i think the correct item description would be "Guarantees a 0% chance of getting Amanamu modifier on scepters".

So like helmets, I think they need to update the item description again as I would definitely consider this a bug.
