Cant transition to new area

Im currently in Ogham Manor, died to the boss and after the respawn I cant renter the arena. Not only that but I cant portal back to town, cant use checkpoints/waypoints. im just stuck here. Left it for a few hours, instance didn't reset. Im just...stuck, tried the respawn at checkpoint, no luck. Finally found the option to relog into town form the Char selection screen. That worked for me.
