Rogue Exile Vasa Unearth Minions and Contaigon

Hi, was playing ED Contaigon HC yesterday and as I was going through the interludes i came across Vasa, of the Death Akhara and was basically killed within 1 second from an DoT effect and my death said "Tuh_soon has committed suicide", for about 30 minuites I tried figuring out what killed me and why I got the "has committed suicide" death.
I noticed in the campaign I could use unearth and put contaigon on the spawned minions to spread the contaigon when they killed stuff and I think when Vasa also used unearth to summon the same minions my contaigon spread to them as an ally instead of enemy, which caused them all to proc my own Contaigon onto me. Only screenshot I had because I was more confused at the time of dying so quickly, but I also noticed I have a contaigon debuff on my own corpse, which Vasa obviously does not have access to. I've had similar build and I just died to the exact same combination. My defenses were quite good for the early late game (maxed resistances, 16% chaos res, 10k energy shield).
