Spectres should keep their special modifiers

I play deadeye but I find extremely sad that spectres lost their special modifiers. Where's the fun in searching for a cool special spectre that will lose their special abilities when it fights for you?

I think a lot of us have the fantasy of capturing some cool mob and make them our greatest weapon, like a boss or something really powerful, but if you guys just nerf whatever is fun then what's the point of playing the game.

Yeah I mean the modifiers really didn’t even make that big of a difference honestly.

Seems like they should have looked at this bug as something to tweak / build off of instead of squash. I’m hoping they realize it actually was a good thing in the end and bring something like this back in the future after they have a chance to think through what the modifiers should be.
This change really hurt my progress this league, I really hope this doesn't happen much in the future it's not really something you're known for GGG, sure some changes do happen mid-league but you didn't even remove those awful frostbearers from POE1 when they were a problem during crucible league.

Innocence forgives you
I think it definitely holds untapped potential. You could have it as a form of "deck building"/chasing in the game for those who want to, in order to suit the situation or build if they use minions.

As it is right now, spectres are a fairly big feature in that it needs to ensure an enemy can work as a minion, but besides that they are kind of wasted because they are all competing for the same role, that being damage rather than there being some who might be desirable for other applications and utility.

And unfortunately a lot of spectres are just bad or really weak.

I use the the big fat witch spectre to curse things, there's some other utility spectres as well.

Problem is the costs are high, so you need *really* high spirit/efficiency before you can consider using utility spectres regularly.

I have to say though, the overall spectre mechanic in POE2 is really, really cool compared to POE1. Only downside is all the orbs you need to get them to 5/6 link.
i dont get them removing unique modifiers from those spectres. Maybe nerf them a bit and make thme reserve less.

Some math:
Having +25% attack speed on minion army is great and "broken" (Ghazzy likes to call it that way).
Having ~30-40%+ attack speed to minions in the tree (with jewels) makes haste affect minion's dps at ~ [ 25%/130% or 25%/140% ] =~+15-20%. Lets take average ~17%.
So in reality fleahpirce' haste aura will give dps boost (considering its own dps is almost irrelevant) only if his reservation will be lower than [ 100/~117 = ~14.6% ] (lets give him more stapce with 15%) of spirit pool bank of a fighting minions. And his spirit cost is 99 iirc.
So w/o any reservation efficiency and not using convalecence and any other support minions (full spirit for dps and fleashpirce) = 99/15*100 = ~660+ raw spirit. To make haste aura give more dps.
Lets include 12% reservation efficiency in tree its 660/1.12 = 589 spirit pool.
Lets include new socketed belt at 86% with 2x ralakesh runes = +22% reservation efficiency. 660/1.34 = 492 spirit.
Lets include bones of ulnr with lets say 25% reservation efficiency = 660/1.59 = 415. Wow. Now its look more realistic.
And lets place a 6% into helmet (getting 2 sockets in it will costs alot) = 660/1.65 = 400 spirit. Nice number. Borderline.

Lower than having those uniques and socketables - you lose dps by using this spectre's haste. While having more than that - usually goes into convalesence (whatever) and other support minions (ie electroskeleton, cleric, the skeleton with hammer etc).

So my outer thoughts of this is ggg just hate ppl having extra movespeed. Or they bad at math. Or they just hate spectres doing anything besides attack skills (which is boring and straightforward with no choice).

PS: ALso, about movement speed. Currently both witch and her spectres (especially mellee) are suffering from AI behavior. Low agro range and forced movement to where you click moves all minions to go there, transforming whole mellee army into "hand of master" (kinda nice, but slow and sluggish at practice). If you click back to kite - whole army will try run back, so micromanagement with movement goes in ^2. +Haste aura made those guyz a bit more responsive to control, ie fun (you feel impact of your clicks).
