Login Error

When I try to login to the game I get

LOGIN ERROR
There has been a patch that you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile.

I have restarted at least 20 times now and get the same response. I uninstalled the Epic Games Launcher and any Path of Exile that was on my computer, re-downloaded through Epic and opened the game, hit login and the same Error popped up.
Any help would be appreciated.

I appreciate this won't necessarily seem worthwhile after a reinstall, but have you tried opening the Epic Games Launcher, going to your Library, clicking on the ··· for Path of Exile 2, clicking on Manage, and clicking on Verify to verify the game's files? It's just a thought.

It's kind of a shame the reinstall was the same client; you having tried the standalone client or Steam client, in some ways, would have been more informative than doing the same thing again.

It does seem that, for whatever reason, your install is a tad outdated;
