What drives me nuts about this nonsense is this is now the THIRD patch that this has been the case. Almost a year at this point of every single season being nothing but lightning skills and deadeyes. Over and over and over and over and over.


Everybody saw this coming a mile a way when the notes got released too. It's just embarrassing at this point that it is plainly obvious GGG either only plays and test with 1 class/ascendancy, or has an insane bias or both.

I just don't understand it, especially when you see their hatred to other specs(cough pathfinder) where they absolutely gut the entire spec while DA/LAs run amok 24/7.

Minions are just as broken, Sniper Skeleton gas arrow was broken in 0.2 and even more broken not. 850% attack damage skill lol ok

The reductionist takes of some PoE1 diehards never fails to amaze me. I do hope they limit lightning rod placement to 3-5 so y’all can stop groaning. That is all it would take to bring down that class substantially to be on par. Making more gear/essences accessible early would help make the lacking skills be better through campaign.

You’ll have infinitely more fun playing anything other build/class, unless you need to be competing with top players for currency grinds to have fun…which if you are solo, you’re already miles behind anyways lol. I do not think GGG could do a single thing to make you happy in reality though. You’re destined to be bitter.

playing a poison monk and it's been fun so far. had to respec lightning for viper but other than that dps has been fine.

Not for me, but I am having lots of fun. My fighting style is get close and personal and melt enemies.

1. Play Amazon

2. Use spear

3. Use Lighting Spear and Thunder Lance to poke enemies

4. Dash with Culling Strike

5. Destroy with Primal Strike

5. Finish off with Elemental Sunder or another Culling Strike

I heard about Deadeye but I don't care. I am sticking with my non=meta build.

I don't feel my build is trash.
