Combat Frenzy don't give frenzy charge

I activate combat frenzy in order to testing the charge generation. I shock every monster and never get a single frenzy charge in 30 minutes of gameplay with it.

According to other post on forum it looks bugged since May / june

Not shock, you can freeze the bell, so previously when you freeze the bell - you generated a charge because it was treated as you were freezing an enemy, now it's no longer work this way and no charges are generated when you freeze the Tempest Bell

Update: I missed the thread, I meant recent 0.3.0c patch where Combat Frenzy stopped generate charges with freezing the Tempest Bell

im having the same problem, even setting it on fire, freezing it or electrocuting it, I didnt gain a charge.
