stuck in volcanic warren - game crashes on load

initially when i loaded the act 4 volcanic warren, i was crashing often. after one crash, i could no longer load the map. every load results the game crashing

what i tried
1. vulcan
2. dx12
3. updated drivers
4. reduced light resolution etc

i cannot even login to my char now. any help is appreciated

Getting the same issue, replying hoping for visibility, cant even load into my character.

Same Issue here, exactly the same.
weird behaviour.

Had some similar issues in last version (2.0) and could only solve the issue by telling a friend to log into my character and walking out of the zone.

Next time going into the zone there were no crashes anoymore.

Seems to be connected to the stuttering server or maptype :(

Same here, chain crash, I can not play on this character anymore that's pretty infuriating.


Edit : I purged my shader caches, no luck. I logged onto another char, it worked. Still can't log on my char that is stuck in Volcanic Warrens

Okay I tried a lot of things and I didn't retry to load after each modification so I can't pinpoint what exactly fixed this, but I have two good candidates.

On top of purging my NVIDIA shaders cache I did aswell delete all my poe2 shader cache. I made steam check the integrity of the files and it turnt out one file was faulty.

Found a solution for me guys.

Update Graphic Drivers and afterwards do the repair of the game.

For me it was Steam check up of Data.
Found a corrupt file which was repaired and afterwards everything worked fine again.
