Chayula Feedback: Volatility and flames needs some serious QOL

First of all, congratulation for the update, unarmed is super fun.
------- Volatility and Chayula flames needs some serious QOL to become relevant. Purple flames: 5 seconds on purple flames, with each flame having its own timer, is a joke, totally useless. Also they are like 3 times less flames appearing compared to 0.2, seriously make it 15 seconds with the timer being renewed with new flames, or straight up delete this node and simply give us some generic power stat. Volatility: Need also some in-built QOL like instant explosion and longer duration, seriously 10 seconds ? Having to first create the volatility, you probably don't have 20 to pop them on the first few mobs, then the fight is over and they POP, ok... By the time you get to the next pack of mobs they disappear and the same useless rotation begin again... Lastly, we loose at least 2 support gems per skill (sometimes 3) to make volatility work, that's an insane amount of power that we sacrifice and frankly, we are better of simply using our support socket to add direct damage or utility at this point, and forget volatility. My recommendations: Flames of Chayula: - add +50% amount of flames appearing on screen. - the flames should last minimum 15 seconds, and their timer should be linked together. (timer for total stack renewed on pick-up) Volatility: - modify the ascendency node INNER TURMOIL (the one that give us volatility immunity) to also make them instantly explode, and most of all double the duration to 20 seconds (minimum, but needs probably more than that). - Their timer should be linked together. (timer for total stack renewed on pick-up) - Volatility on crit should also NOT take our support gems slots, so build-in in the ascendency nodes or worst case scenario create a node on the monk tree. Last league I tested the red and blue flames. In the expanded skill sheet, nothing g was changed. I only looked because it appeared to be doing nothing.
I haven’t checked this league but I’m assuming they still don’t do anything. I’m playing a minion build and thought volatility would be cool. And just like that, I don’t deal elemental damage. They keep trying to make acolyte, invoker lite and I don’t like it. I’ll end up chaos res and purple flames. Don’t need the last two points |
