Can you tell me the way to craft this item:

My crafting game is usually just essence spam until something good lands.

xD. Sorry, can't help but laugh at this. If essence spam is your normal craft, I doubt you will be crafting this item.

What is your budget? You do see the weights and number of attempts listed in the link you shared right?


I would probably:

1. Start with high memory strands. Since the base is pretty low demand, you might have decent luck just trying to find one for sale with really high memory strands. (non-influenced). If you can find that, then make it magic with crafting bench, imprint it, then make it rare and crusader exalt for influence. repeat with imprint if slam uses too many memory strands. (ideally you want to have over 70 left. If theres none for sale with memory strands, take a influenced base, scour and hit with Orb of Remembrance (10d ea) until you get >50 strands. Make sure to imprint a magic version of the stranded item either way.

2. Bench rarity to rare. Fossil spam with fudamental fossils until you have triple attrib suffixes that are a combo of T1/T2's, (T1/T1/T3 also viable).

3. Suffix cannot be changed, scour, to remove any prefixes.

4. Orb of unraveling to attempt to elevate the attribs to T1.

5. If ok with result, proceed to harvest bench. Suffix cannot be changed + reforge influence. Pray it hits or doesnt fill prefixes. Repeat until hit or until you get fkd and have to gamba annual for an open prefix.

6. Once you hit one of the crusader mods you want,

a)if there are still 2 open prefixes: bench craft an unwanted mod to block, and exalt slam for 2nd.

b) if 1 open prefix, just bench craft your desired mod.

c) be greedy and repeat until you get a 2nd mod you are happy with. and by repeat, I mean the entire process, because you are almost certainly going to fill prefixes and miss the annual and have to start from your imprint xD

Rough ballpark, I think best case scenario, this craft is 40-50d, assuming you find a memory stranded base. Orb of Remembrance can go off the rails really fast, I would avoid that if possible. Moderate chance you have to redo the craft due to filling prefixes/bad annual. So even with a good starting memory base, could easily end up being twice that, and thats assuming you are willing to settle. If you really want T1 x5 of everything you listed, just mirror the item from someone (but I would suggest finding a double influenced in that case, just for the new jewel combo)

Pretty rough to get that exact ring.

I haven't crafted with memory strands and the new currency yet, so I might do it a little bit different than Piousqd suggested.

My strategy would revolve around a fractured base. Probably fractured flat ES prefix (T1). That one should be pretty cheap.

After that, start with

#1 Essence of Rage (Str) or Sorrow (Dex) until u hit ur desired suffixes.
- 2x T1 might take a whole lot of essences tho

#2 if u have more than one open Prefix, slam Crusader Orb - otherwise craft suffixes cannot be changed and scour off the prefixes first

#3 if the Crusader slam didn't hit the prefix u wanted, craft suffixes cannot be changed -> Harvest reforge Defence (for % ES) or Caster (for Spelldmg)

Defence has the downside that it can roll evasion rating aswell.

If u're unlucky and fill all prefixes u have to yolo annul and hope to not hit a suffix.

Hard to say how expensive that procedure ends up being... very RNG reliant. I wouldn't go for the 6th mod aswell, just craft Mana on it and be happy.

Either way, u'll need alot of currency to get that Ring.

You should give it a shot! Its pretty nice. They have gotten expensive as hell as the league inflates, but also as the knowledge becomes more widespread.

Theres a few videos on it, but basically it just makes rolling the item so much easier. Ive made quite a few 1200+ ES chest using em.

TLDR:

Orb of unraveling uses all your strands to upgrade tiers of rolls.

Harvest/Fossil crafting doesnt use strands. This allows you to roll the item without consuming strands.

Orb of rememberance adds strands to a normal item, this allows you to buy over qual bases and use memory crafting techniques on them.

Its possible to craft this ring with Recombinator. Not sure what the best approach would be. One possible approach is to go for 2p/3s and use Crusader's Exalt. This has only ~1/6 chance to get one of the two desired mods. You may however still be able to sell the failed ~5/6 results.
If you do want to use Recombinator you will have to learn some of "the (known) rules". Note that the previously popular multimodding approach basically does not work anymore.

Oh, u're correct. Haven't actually used those orbs in ages, just looked at the ingame tooltip and it didn't say it doesn't work on fractured. Wiki states it tho.
