Expected Azurite drops in Delve
I'm only playing the game a few weeks now and only recently started delving in the mines. Azurite nodes are giving me very little drops, only 40-60 azurite at depth 24, and between 150-200 in azurite node 2 at depth 36.
I was told by a past player that this should be higher at depth 36, as in as soon as you click the azurite mound to summon all the enemies, you should get 400-600 azurite instantly, and then the 150-200 from drops after you kill the enemies. Can anyone advise if the drops I am currently getting (150-200 at depth 36 for an azurite 2 node) is what I should be expecting or if it is a bug and I should be expecting more Thanks Last bumped on Aug 14, 2025, 10:09:23 AM

You're getting normal values. You should not be expecting more. The past player is wrong.
Neither the azurite mound to start the encounter nor the enemies themselves give azurite. Once you complete the encounter the azurite crystals lining the edges of the "room" will break and become available to be collected. That is the only source. |

Thanks. I suspected he was wrong alright, just wanted to be sure as it does get expensive quickly for upgrades with the azurite, and just wanted to be sure I was getting the correct amount

The amount you get sounds about right. Not sure what you need all the Azurite for, but grabbing a few nodes here and there is usually enough to keep your Darkness resistance and light radius capped for the depth you're at. All the other upgrades are not that relevant early on. Remember, Delve scaling only tops out at a depth of several thousand, so it is to be expected that it starts out with quite low numbers.
" This is not how it works. Azurite only drops at the end of the encounter, not at the start. |
