Kitava Corrupted Cry (Herald Blood/Plague) Screen Explosions

I'm no PoE vet so trying to cook up this build, my main goal was str stacking, life regen tank and I decided to try switch over to Corrupted cry at 50 level and then realized it's techincally a blood loss even though not a bleed and wondered if all the Ritualist Herald tech works.

Holy cow it does to my delight the whole screen explodes and made the end of campaign a breeze into maps. Since I'm doing 100% of the monsters hp as blood loss it's really great and war cry pushes monsters into packs to explode.

The last time I played War cry build it suffered from slow map clear and terrible single target but was reliable. Now with this herald of blood tech it's at least a fast mapper just got to solve in a fun way single target.

I don't know where I'm really going with this build, it's end of season and just haven't seen anyone talking about using Corrupting cry with Heralds as the new version of the build so figure I'd mention it here for people to try and maybe improve on it.

I initially wanted to do something with Xoph's ammy with fire exposure, fire spell on hit but maybe that's not possible. I'm just surprised at how well War cry works with the heralds so hoping if anyone has suggestions to help cook up this build.

- Concerns - I'm using a low lvl legendary spear with high str, I don't want to invest to heavily into Dex. I also don't like Maces and don't want to stun but maybe there is a mace that would work?

I only have 4 ascendacy points and haven't got a lot of War cry passives or invested into the build and it's doing very well so gonna keep messing with it. I do have also a low end Wind dancer as well just for extra explosion and to bounce monsters back with some damage to explode.

Thoughts?

Update - Level 88 now cruising through T15 maps overall very comfy being Kitava have 688 life regen and almost 4k life with pretty mediocre gear. I definitely suggest some people trying corrupting cry with Heralds it's very satisfying.

Have 75 resist all haven't gotten the 8th ascendacy points yet to get into the max resist tech, thats my next project. Also have 71 chaos res using Oaksworn shield (also has lotta life regen).

I really like this build for expeditions which can be kinda rippy normally but I just roll right into the explosions and start yelling exploding the screen really before they do anything.

I do now use Blood hunt for Bossing helps some but still need to figure out a better boss set up.

I think this might be a great league starter because with little investment you really can get screen clears with war cry and Blood/Poison heralds while being very safe (easy max resist, life regen, max block). You can stand in ignited ground and the bad stuff and your HP doesnt move, which is nice since you usually don't notice it.

I do hope GGG does buff War cry gems though so it's not just all about corrupting cry and they explore hit damage and even elemental support is possible. Overall pretty relaxing build though I'm sure with good gear, astra and breach rings etc might be near immortal with 1k+ life regen.
