Why and how he runs 2 Curses (Despair & Temp Chains)?
Cant see him raising his Curse limit.
Obv Despair benefits his Balance of Terror but he already inclicts Wither with Witherin Steps.
Isnt one obsolete? Or is it just for consistency?
And why Temp chain?

2.
Why Power Charge on hit when running Ralakesh?
Just for the 4% more damage per PC?
Arcane Surge or inc crit chance benefits more dps.

And is there a replacement for Bladefall of Trarthrus?
(60d in Standard)

Curse immunity and 100% uptime on 15 withered is huge for the build. You wont get that with withering step. 15 withered stacks is actually half of his dps.

Probably defense for temp chains? Its not a poison build so I cant see why otherwise. Oh he is using coiling whisper so its the perma 45 stacks soul eater tech.

He is running maven belt and inner conviction so he cant generate power charges normally. The boots are required for him to get power charges. It also synergizes well with malachi shield and willclash by negating their downsides.

Power charge on crit is the by far the highest dps option for him. Arcane surge is also useless because he never spends mana due to amulet.

Dunno about replacement for the bladefall gem.

So with only one curse Temp Chain is just the other half of a less curse effect flask suffix and despair the best overall choice,right?

His curse limit doesnt matter now that I look again. Enemies are unaffected by curses due to the coiling whisper ring so despair is cast into the ether once every 10 seconds to maintain buffs. Casting it on enemies does nothing.

Temp chains is for the short curse duration to generate stacks of soul eater due to coiling whispers ring.

The Merc is casting Despair, not the player.

And the Merc needs either a gearpiece like windscream or doedres ring to increase the curse limit or the amulet anoint to make it happen.

It looks like he has a despair he casts socketed in his shield for the balance of terror buffs otherwise he has a 300 div jewel that does nothing.

It would make sense that the merc is casting despair with a +1 curse somewhere so he still gets the benefit of the curse.

Oh I ignored that one cuz its disabled and the player curses wont do anything anyways...

The curse does show up in section labelled "merc", so yeah my bad
