Misclicked portal when "rescuing" a boat - Lost 50,000,000 shipment

Basically title. Sent 50million shipment this morning, was attacked by pirates. Clicked "rescue" then entered portal to crush the beyond-easy boss fight and get my shipment back on track. Accidentally clicked portal to exit upon entering zone because of course that's what you'll do if you invest a week's worth of resources into something and the spawn point in the zone is physically INSIDE of the portal to exit. Poof. Shipment, crew, and my remaining will to keep playing this game all gone in a quarter of a second.

It is ridiculously punitive elements like this which frankly just devastate the gameplay experience unnecessarily. The potential of losing resources which take fully a solid week to generate in the event of an horrifically-timed disconnection or, in my case, misclick is the video game equivalent of a blow below the belt.

REQUESTING GGG do SOMETHING about absolutely TRAGIC experiences like this in an otherwise somewhat-enjoyable(?) game.

Yeah there should be a confirmation window for that, or more portals.

Posts like this were literally my first thought when I encountered it the first time. Saw the 1 portal, saw how close it was, and knowing how annoying it is when your cursor seems to be locked on something you accidentally clicked... yeah, I saw it coming from a mile away. And, mind you, that was in the first couple days of Settlers league.

My condolences. I lost a strong Flamehand a while back to a similar issue, namely that I misclicked the buttons and she insta poofed. Several Divines worth of gear went poof along with her.
