Been playing on singapore server for a month because you haven't fixed oce servers

Literally coming up on playing on singapore/japan server from New Zealand for almost a month now, because Auckland and australia servers are constantly on fire.

Do you guys just not care? Literally problems for almost a month constantly, its obviously not DDOS because the far away servers seem fine. Still no official word if a solution is coming. What is this shit?

I feel the same that they dont care.

For what it is worth, try using cloudflare warp on your machine, I am able to play on NZ when Tunnled via them.

If using a VPN fixes the problem, then the problem is - by definition - not a server-side problem.

The Path of Exile servers being maintained is GGG’s job. Getting you connected to them without issue is your ISP’s. A VPN makes no server-side changes; it merely adjusts your connection to the server. Your ISP dropping the ball is not an indication of GGG not caring.

Putting aside the fact that you literally pay tax so the government maintains the roads for you…

Why is some arbitrary street the “road to [their] business” ? You might happen to default to travelling along that road to go to a particular shop - as you would if visiting any of hundreds of other shops - but that does not denote any kind of formal relationship between the two.

What are you even arguing for? Anytime someone playing PoE has issues anywhere in the world, GGG just sends Jonathan Rogers & a couple of Network Engineers in a helicopter to - y’know, illegally - access and begin modifying (and even physically replacing?) parts of that ISP’s network?

GGG are a medium-sized development studio based entirely in a single office, outsourced art asset creation notwithstanding. While there are certainly things they should make more of an effort at than what they do at present, no serious person will hold them responsible for the state of every router & IX on the planet. There just isn’t a cogent argument to be made in favour of that…
