Kingsmarch Shipment Item Level downgrade

I sent a 17 m shipment yesterday evening and created a new character. I did not send the shipment, nor did I open the reward window with my new character. After being surprised by the poor outcome of the shipment and the subsequent filling of the disenchantment UI with the gear obtained from it, I was disappointed by the low dust values I would get from the enchantment process. When I checked the item level of the set items, I saw that it was only 46. The shipment had taken the level of my lowest character, who never interacted with it; in fact, I had made sure to check the shipment with my level 96 yesterday evening.

I know you will not recalculate my shipment, but please, this is one of those mechanics that are really annoying. Another example is the Expedition traders. Why cannot you simply use the maximum level of all league characters on the account to calculate such mechanics?
