Old fart wanna have fun need help with Volcanic fissure of snaking

Guys what should i do? i play with SUNDER dont have snaking gem atm, i reached t 1 and t2 and getting my a** kicked. Should i farm lab for gem, asap ? can i get it in normal lab ? I have rage on hit but i cant see rage charges is it because i dont have blood rage on ? i onlky see endurance charges ? Should i get some unique axe or yellow ?

Hello im also kinda noob played poe, poe2 now returning poe1 very fun league. Trying to build volcanic fissure of snaking, finished campaign reached t1 t2 maps but struggle with survivability, running sunder at the moment dont have gem. Tried to cape resistances. Only chaos ress still low but getting killed retty often. Please maybe could someone look at my character and twll me how to improve? New weapon gear etc ? And btw 2nd ascendancy points tell i get rage on hit but i get only endurqnce charges. Do i need to put rage gem? Thats why i dont get rage? My acc is coronyto#9419. , 75lvl McC berserker. you have alot of easily fixable issues

tree looks okay as you are following a guide it seems

rage will show up on top left buffs and over your mana bar: it doesnt show on characters except for a red glow iirc. bloodrage will give you frenzy charges during mapping when you get kills

finish merc lab, all 4 labs for berserk are high dps nodes (rite of ruin aspect of carnage can literally double and triple dps)


weapon (foe gnash): extemelty undertuned, 300 dps axe in maps. go to trade site and buy a 600+ pdps axe for 5c or less. or craft one of your own using karui choppers + vendor recipe + crafting attack speed or flat phys. it doesnt really matter if its unique or rare (yellow) as long as it has high physical dps. yellow /rares are usually much better and cheaper

your helm appears to be a white helm with no crafts nor affixes

body armour is very weak, same thing get 2k+ armor and chaos res and max life for 5c or less

gloves are also 2 affix no res no life

boots are a good version of what you want on every gear, double or triple res, chaos res, max life

amulet is okay maybe you need the int but again, get max life

duskloop ring has very low life

demon grip is around where you want to start maps with gear wise

belt seems okay/usable

get a source of onslaught (graceful assault, hatchet master, or onslaught flask)

dont use 3 life flasks unless you feel you absolutely have to. 2 + 3 utility flasks is often enough. get remove bleeding, remove freeze, and %armour during effect on different flask

i usually dont recommend melee phys or pulverize in main links until you get alot of attack speed: these supports give great dmg but LESS attack speed, meaning you will feel rough

once you get better gear (get all red/armour bases) and socket/colour them, you can and should try to use herald of purity + manually cast rallying cry: this will give you alot of phys as extra with the minions + your merc





you can farm merc lab: it has no entry fee and you will be able to turn your own volcanic fissure gems into snaking, as well as get quality for your gems or sell the others you transform into
