Betrayal safehouse progress undone, and operatives not spawning in safehouse encounter
This is a two-for-one.
First off, no less than 20 times in the last week, I have 1. Do something to fill up the safehouse progress after a Syndicate encounter in the map 2. Leave the area of the encounter 3. Run into another encounter 4. Discover that the safehouse progress was rolled back to around 90% or something Second, I've also had 3 occasions also in the last week where I opened a safehouse inside of a map, and run to the end, only to discover that it was bricked. No captain spawned, no way to get out of the safehouse. I had to portal out and abandon at least 1 hour of progress. I've noticed that the problem with captains not spawning only ever happens if I open the safehouse in the middle of making decision in another encounter. It's a bit wordy to describe what I do what I do so no short version, here's the long version: The way I set up my board, I have 2 operatives in Transport, and 2 operatives in Research. These operatives have criss-cross rivalries with each other, so an operative from one branch may appear in another branch's encounter as reinforcement. I assumed that for example, if I filled up Transport safehouse progress, and run into a Research encounter, the game would somehow rollback Transport progress and I'd have to fill it up again, so I avoid this by running around trying to trigger an Intervention encounter or Fortification encounter. When I trigger either of them, in the decision-making step, I just ask Jun to open the portal to the safehouse I finished progressing, and then make decisions regarding the operatives. I've noticed that the two times I got a bricked safehouse, that was what I did. I am 50/50 on whether or not making decisions on the operatives BEFORE opening the portals make any difference. Sidenote: Guys, can we PLEASE just let Jun MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE BEFORE OPENING THE GOD DAMN PORTAL? Half of the craps I did above is just because Jun 1. Can't open portal if there's even a pebble in the way 2. Can't open portal inside the Research encounter zone 3. Even if she can open portal inside the Research encounter zone, it's full of tables and craps blocking the portal so she probably can't regardless It's super annoying. Right after posting this thread, I ran into the following scenario
1. I filled up the Transport safehouse progress 2. I opened the Transport safehouse portal right after making the final decision for the Transport encounter 3. Intervention encounter starts immediately after the game resumed 4. I defeated them, but did not make any decision and went into the portal 5. The safehouse was bricked, no captain or lieutenant spawned 6. Miffed, I opened the portal and left 7. Made decisions on the Intervention encounter 8. Just to check, I went back into the safehouse 9. All I got was "Safehouse abandoned" message and the progress completely reset, no rank was lost EDIT: Extremely weird. Checking the board after the safehouse abandoned message popped up, I had Gravicius - the former captain - still the captain at rank 3, and Vorici - the former lieutenant - is still under Gravicius. This was exactly what it was before the safehouse was abandoned. I moved on to the last encounter, a Research encounter, I finished it, and in there, Vorici is now a rank 1 captain for some reason. I'm just completely baffled. Whatever the hell you guys did to rework the interaction this league, it's made the entire thing extremely janky.
