Mercenary's orginal inventory accessible as they are portaling out after death

While my merc had his portal open to leave after dying i was able to open a UI that showed me his original inventory and it had the option to take items from him including his currency puch even though he was my hired merc. I didn't actually take the 2 orbs of chance that were there to confirm if it would let me but it gave me the option to.
