What's a good build idea for this league ?

Hmm trying to find a reason to play this league ?

Haven't played since Crucible.

I went through the patch notes and there wasn't any new gem so i guess this is not this kind of patch.

Anything new or on the rise that could be fun to check out ?

Fun = Clear everything fast, Invincible, Easy bossing with One Shot potential after 150/200+ div invested - Also no RF, no specters / summons :)

The new fire pen ring is going to be meta but it'll probably be expensive. So if you think you can get that any hit fire based skill that can scale fire resist will be good for this league. Pretty much any attack or phys skill can be turned into a fire skill with mastery/items.

Casters got a free 20% more cast speed from mana rf so any caster build that scales with cast speed should be good.

Slams are probably still meta also.

I'm thinking about the new spectral shield throw that drops from mercs either bleed based or armor stacker.

That fire ring will cost just as much as Nimis, or even more. Dont even think it exits unless you are veteran who knows how to make a lot of currency.

That really depends on how common it is you could be right but then again... I kind of doubt it will be as rare in fact I won't be amazed if it's fairly common as in the boss that drops it will be easy to spawn and have a decent chance to drop it.

Anyhow been thinking more about build ideas and str stacker seems like it will be meta again also. I might level as str stack with brutus lead sprinkler because it's pretty cheap at league start generally.

It dropps from Pinnacle boss. Meaning boss on par with other Ubers. GGG will never make it "common".
ALso what makes you think it will be "easy to spawn the boss"? It doesnt drop from the memory end boss. It drops from Memory PINNACLE boss. (Just like the Axe that was shown).

Btw everyone is probably going to be running around in groups of 5 people with everyone and their merc and animate guardian wearing that helm that reserves a % of monsters life. If you stack like 8 of those together monsters just die on spawn from coming close to you don't even have to damage them.

Nope. Was confirmed in the ZiggyD interview. They considered doing this but found it would have some difficulties in implementation and then decided to go full ham. So organised groups can have a 6 player party, each with a mercenary and each with an Animated Guardian.

I suspect GGG have bought shares in Intel and Nvidia so they can profit from all the cooked CPUs and GPUs that are gonna happen in a week's time!

I sure hope they wont balance the game around everyone using "aurabot Mercanary" and AG with them.

will AG be revivable with items? i see people mentioning using them on non minion builds but that'd be awful if they die and we lose the items
