Mac client "unable to connect to login server"
|
This post was edited after Sarno's input.
Major Issue 1 : It takes like 20 min. of countless attempts of "unable to connect to login server" before we actually can get in the character selection. And then, once in game, you better be fast with the "/dnd" otherwise the game crash between instantly to 5 min. The 2nd issue id like to report is that we are unable to change language, the game either crash when you click on a flag or simply just don't even change once you restart the client. Btw, this "unable to connect to login server" issue seems to have been out there for at least 6 months now. Thanks in advance, tho seeing how much effort you put into the mac client, be sure i will not wait another 6 month before i uninstall a game i can't even play...... will go try D4 instead. " Given that they first began shipping macOS clients in 2020 - 5 years ago - that seems... unlikely. If you're going off the date of the Known Issues sticky thread, it clearly shows that it was last edited earlier this month. It's common for game developers to maintain a list of known issues that gradually gets updated over time; it's not reflective of when any individual bug was first added to the post. " Take a look at this post: "Known Issues / FAQ" Maybe im wrong, but that comment seem to have been posted in 2016 |

" It's not my intention to be rude, but did you read that paragraph of text you quoted from my previous post? Because I addressed precisely this and I'm not sure how to phrase it more clearly than I did the last time I typed it out to you. In 2016 they created a thread to track commonly reported known issues in the game. Ever since then, they have been editing it as new issues come to light and existing bugs get fixed in game updates. The date the thread was created is irrelevant. It shows it was edited earlier this month. If they had just posted that in 2016 and never changed its contents... why would they have stickied outdated information to the top of the forum for a decade? That makes no sense. " I don't mean to be rude, but i don't know who you are and you could be as wrong as i can be. That being said after my last post i went back to search for what i've missed and made another post saying that you where right. I also said that it's no specified what was edited, added or removed; but ill take your last post as fact that the game was not release for MAC in 2016. I guess a simple note about what was added and when could have help. Thank for your input. i will edit my first post. |
