Should Herald of Ash ignites trigger gas clouds?

It seems like this is broken, as any time I ignite a creature any other way, the ignite detonates my gas clouds. Is this a bug, or is it because it is a Herald or something? It would really help enable my build if it work, so I am reporting it as either a bug or a feature request! 🙏

Any fire skill should trigger the gus cloud weather if it is enemy's or ally's action. It's not buged, Decs made it work like this and it is insane unlogic interaction of two elements.


But the problem is general when discussing about elements and their behaviour between them.

For example if there is an ignite ground and a skill creates frost ground on it then the ignite ground should permanently distinguished. But logic results not happening in this game.
