Expedition with controller

I don't know how this behaves with mouse and keyboard but with controller it is VERY difficult to place explosives where you want. The green circle either just won't move or gets stuck on scenery and won't move. Also, sometimes you are in the "zone" but you don't get the place explosives button prompt.
