Guaranteed Unique drop from boss in Campaign

I want to increase the excitement of killing a boss in campaign.

Guarantee 1 unique drop from every boss during the campaign. i noticed this while playing diablo 4 this week. everytime i killed a boss i knew i would get exciting moment of a possible good unique/legendary. i looked foward to killing bosses instead of just having it feel like a choore to get through. it was many times during the campaign in D4 where a legendary would increase my power and alter how or what i would play with. it was fun.

Some may say uniques arent exciting in this game. and ye id agree. but that can change in the future with further improvements. a guaranteed yellow item is kind of a shit reward for killing a BOSS, it doesnt feel rewarding today.

You should just consolidate all your comparisons to Diablo 4 into one post. Anyway, why would POE emulate Diablo 4? It's a WILDLY more successful game. And it's maybe a little off base, but this "reward" system you're talking about [Removed by Support] If all you want out of a game is happy bright gold lights, you're in the wrong place.

D4 is way more successful though

Let's be real

"Diablo IV generated $666 million in revenue within the first five days after launch, and reached 12 million players by August 2023"

PoE2 sold about 1 million keys.

It still has the potential, but if they will keep insisting on slow gameplay, it will not reach even 100k players at the same time.

Let's hope for speed buffs.

There are different ways to measure success. The business is succeeding if it's making money. The game is succeeding if people play it.

How much did Diablo 4 cost? How much does POE cost? (POE2 is not even out yet, and I would hesitate to compare EA stats to a full release).

You can go look up player counts for POE and Diablo 4. Keep in mind POE has been out for a much, much longer time.

My gameplay is not slow. The only thing that I (personally) find tedious, at least in the end game, is running loads of trash maps to get to a new 3/4 tower location. And the abyss and hidden grotto maps. They suck.

Conspiracy theory: everything in the game feels slow because if they sped it up by 10-20% everyone's CPU would actually melt.
