"inspiring ally" and "Entropic Incarnation" dont synergize. minions =/= companions?

the passive nodes "inspiring ally" and "Entropic Incarnation" don't synergize.
i see no chaos dmg added to my damage break down with these passives allocated.


"companions are a type of reviving minion"

"minions gain 8% of phys as chaos"
"increases and reductions to companion dmg also apply to you"

would like more clear wording if this isn't a bug; not a big fan of the square is a rectangle but rectangle isn't a square stuff.
