Good Job GGG

Just wanted to say thank you GGG for POE2. Not many people are doing that. Overall I think the game is great, and I'm at almost 700hrs played so far with POE2 and 1,700hrs in POE1.

Does it need some work? Sure, but that's the same feeling I had with POE1 the first few years as well. And overall the bones of the game are really really good. Will there be bad seasons that might go in a bad direction? Sure, there were more than a handful of leagues in POE1.

I feel like there's a lot of soy boy complainers that have nothing better to do than to just complain in the forums about everything and and a bunch more that just stir the pot. And a bunch of them are just big babies. If they don't get what they want right now they cry and b*ch till they get what they want. Hopefully GGG doesn't give in.

The towers and waystones? GGG will figure it out. Plenty of competent people have GGG's ear and they will eventually adjust it and get it where its supposed to be. Whatever changes were positive and trying to fix the gameplay of it.

EXP on death? POE1 has this and its fine for like... a bunch of years. Stop being little B*chs.

Only a few meta builds? Sure, same crap happens with PoE1, this will be balanced out the next few seasons. Hopefully they keep some of the more non meta builds viable with every seasons of changes and nerfs. Builds like RF/Pconc/ect from POE1 come to mind.

Crafting being too RNG? everyone forgot about the first few years of POE1 huh. Its already being slowly changed and added onto. Fracturing, recombinators, ect.

Overall, I really enjoy the pacing of the campaign and it doesn't feel like a chore that POE1 was.

I'm amazed at the amount of changes and balances happening here since beta release. I was expecting this to drag out over multiple years. GGG has been delivering so far while trying to keep POE1 going.

Overall the game is at a good base. And it will grow into something better. And from the looks of it its going to happen fairly quickly.

The only thing I will say is that GGG needs to start middle adjusting. I know the streamers dedicating 30 hour days to this game get bored quickly, but the game needs more middle balancing. There's a bunch of people I know that don't play because they can't dedicate the time or effort to get into the game as much as the 12h gaming session gamers.

Thanks again GGG! And there's nothing wrong with saying some things might be off and the adjustments take time and for people to have some patience. It's freakin early access for God sakes...

Mmmh yes but the question is: how long is it going to take ?
If it takes poe 2 another 2-3 year to get to about poe 1 level of quality then maybe it would have been better to just focus on poe 1 and make poe 2 a major update like it was originally supposed to be.
People, call them babies if you want, just won't wait forever, they'll quit and move on.

I don't think it's okay that they started with a game devoid of any mechanics... to discard all that progress they made so they can "start over on a clean slate" is horrible.

Their clean slate is horrible and unappreciated by almost everyone but trolls.

I'd suggest we just stick to the game.

Props to ggg though, this game is pretty cool in some regards, but it needs to stop being "anti-player" because muh vision. It's honestly killing the fun out of the game in pursuit of some kind of balance that doesn't work (build variety is a bad as I've ever seen it) and players in majority clearly do no like it

Here we go... its that guy.... I think you just need to go out and touch some grass.

I think its in most peoples nature to just complain and put people down. Some people will see good things and build on that. Was hoping to put something more positive in here and see if something good came out of it. I was definitely proven wrong with this posting.

We've stepped back from the age of supercomputers and now we can build pyramids. Or we're just inventing fire. But at least the view is nice.
