Maps not giving new map on completition

Maps are hard to get now? they are so common now it's not even funny so an occasionnal no-drop shouldn't be an issue. If you have issues sustaining maps, it means you die too often.

Im regurarly vendoring full inventories of t15 maps.

They cant make maps drop more, they have to make them drop less.

Theres supposed to be a trade off so that there is actually an incentive for picking the +waypoints nodes from the atlas tree and from running maps with more suffixes. Right now you just want to not roll any suffixes at all because your alredy getting an inventory full of maps.

This is also the opinion ive seen most people have, including basicly all of the streamers/content creators.

So instead of complaining at ggg trying to make them change the game, try to ask yourself why is it that your running out of maps when most people are having the opposite issue?

I had WAY more maps in 0.1. Stash tabs full of T14-16. In 0.2 i had problems with sustain ever since reaching T12, mostly because maps often didn't drop any waystones at all and maybe 1 in 10 dropped 2 max. After g patch things got better, finally some juiced maps that drop 3,4 waystones but it's still not great for me given that many maps are trash tier due to mods like temporal chains.

In the climb from T1 to T15 when you're seeking corruption nodes for atlas points and not furiously trying to stack towers with +waystone drop tablets, you absolutely will run maps where a single waystone does not drop. This means you have to go back a tier and find a boss, and hope that it drops a tier higher, it isn't guaranteed. This has nothing to do with if you're dying or not. I just did the 1-15 climb and never failed a map. I had to go back tiers/upgrade lower tiers several times because there weren't always enough to stay at current tier/keep going higher.

Edited to add all my waystones were ran at least 2 mods, often 3+. I wasn't running them white, ever.

It's just dumb. I can't make any sense of it except to make players spend more time.

I think the devs feel that RNG makes the game better in some way. I'm not sure.

Maybe it's to justify having more tabs? I don't know. Endgame isn't great.

Idk I havent bothered speccing into any +waypoints nodes on the atlas tree and I use omens to specificly roll my maps with as few suffixes as possible and I still get way more maps then I use, I vendor 1-2 inventories of t15 maps each day. I cant really see how the rng variance can be this big that your struggling with maps.
Isn't this exactly like it was in 0.1? Some people got stashes full of t15 maps and others (like me) barely get enough to continue.

I'm still thinking they have some scuffed RNG routine that uses your character ID as seed, and it makes half the people miss everything while the other half drowns in loot.

My reply was to the guy that said having no map sustain was because of dying. I said I never failed a map in the 1-15 climb and couldn't sustain without going back tiers or reforging lower tiers up. So it wasn't because of dying.

Like the guy above me just said, RNG gonna RNG. In every facet of this game.
I have had numerous times where a map was completed and no new map dropped. I thought it was supposed to always give you 1 of equal or a tier higher on completion now.
