I think we should remove or nerf the additional rewards in multiplayer mode.

Many players are exploiting multiplayer mode by using bots or automated scripts to farm rewards solo. Since multiplayer mode offers disproportionately high in-game currency rewards, this has led to severe inflation. As a result, legitimate players struggle to keep up, as the currency they earn through normal gameplay becomes insufficient to match the inflated economy.

At this point, we should remove all online components all together and treat this like a single player game.

When I say all online components I also mean trading.

Personally, I am of opposite mindset and would rather be encouraged by end game mechanics to group up.

You do see people in chat looking for afk party members... that's probably a bad sign.

You bet all the RMT farmers are using multiple accounts.
In D2 you could just manually increase the "effective" party size. /players 8 or something like that, I remember using it a lot - this could at least remove the incentive for afk parties.

Yep you can, but only on solo/offline mode.

The problem is that this system is currently being exploited on a large scale, undermining both game balance and player trust in the economy.
Everything can be 1 shot. Either they are still working on MP aspects of the game or this is a huge exploit.

In the Taiwan version (which has different account system and thus stands alone from the international version), we often see people posting openings on Global chat for "XP babies" to tag along during mapping, the XP babies just follow around and try to stay alive.

They would also specify if it's okay for the XP babies to pick up items, or if it's a no-pickup run, etc.

It's not botting but essentially they're doing the same thing, just with real human players.
