Towers in PoE2

Im completing towers in the endgame map with juiced up T15 or T16 waystones, clearing all mobs, killing the bosses, activating the towers. And either nothing will happen when i click the tower, or, i put in my tablets, it juices my nodes, then ill clear another tower in the same radius, it wont open but i can open the previous tower and it has blank slots, even though i just completed the tower and juiced the nodes. I can put new tablets into the old tower but it doesnt do anything to the nodes, then i can open the tower and take my tablets back out.
