Sekhema Trial Floor 4
|
Why does Honor damage spike so much on the fourth floor? And I know some wiseacre will be excited to type "to increase the challenge on the last floor" or something, but let me be more specific:
Why, in a specialty dungeon where the gimmick resource is supposedly keyed to the damage I take by explicable mechanical processes, does the ratio of honor I lose to damage I take increase by an order of magnitude when I get to the fourth trial? Is there some hidden affliction I'm picking up? I like that the Trial of the Sekhemas is a challenge of shifting rules, and I like that I get to impact those rules through shrewd gameplay. I *do not* like that, on the fourth floor, there's an extra rule that is seemingly hidden from me that says "Honor doesn't work the same way anymore and there's nothing you can do about it." The simplest answer is that the level of mobs increase with the floors. The lowest lvl Barya needed to complete all of Sehkemas is 75. On that final floor, all the monsters are level 78+

Nope. The highest level is 80, so in my case, the mobs were no stronger.
I should reiterate/clarify: I haven't tracked every amount of damage I took relative to how much honor it cost, but it is that ratio that appears to have changed. The amount of Honour damage I was taking was higher relative to the amount of actual damage (in comparison to other floors), and, if Honour Resistance is a meaningful statistic that isn't changing between floors, that shouldn't really be the case.
