Orichalcum deposits/veins not providing "shrine" buff

Been playing a private league of Alternate Ascendancies + Gauntlet.

The Orichalcum deposits have never provided the buff, from the earliest zones, well into maps.

At first I thought maybe it got nerfed and would work in maps. Nope.

Then I thought maybe it's because I'm Daughter of Oshabi and that the ascendancy was overriding the buff. But no, the deposits never gave me the buff even as a Ranger from the earliest Act 1 zones, and on.

The shrine symbol stays about the deposit forever even after clearing, and it's not interactable (not that it's supposed to be).


Not sure if it's bugged because of Gauntlet, or because of Alternate Ascendancies, but it must be one of the two.

Or I guess option 3 is a stealth nerfed version of Settlers since the private leagues, but a search of the forums turns up no one talking about this so I highly doubt it.

Tested on a low-level Marauder in the same league. Same thing, buff not gained.

It is more like do you kill the monster that guard the ore off screen (ie far away from the ore itself), so that the completion of the ore does not register (this is more often happened with Verisium anyway)
