Next Season?

Is there any news about when there will be a next season? I want to play PoE again, but not PoE2, because i just don't like it.

June 2025. Unless they decide to just shut down PoE 1 completely. July would mark 1 year since the 3.25 release. They can't really postpone 3.26 any longer without admitting that they don't care about PoE 1 anymore.

What I think would be worse is us waiting this long just for something low-effort. If they want to mend some fences, it really needs to be an unusually mighty “leaguespansion”, imo.

Mend what, exactly? The overblown expectations of the loud minority?
Settlers already slapped harder than most leagues,if anything, it's going to be hard to push out a better patch at this point, or something "unusually mighty"

PoE2 might not be as well off as they claim. I was discussing (read: ranting) about the state of PoE to a friend, and they gave some interesting perspective on it. They said that GGG might be extremely unhappy with the current state of PoE2 EA, that the planned timeline for release is already scrapped. However, GGG can't/doesn't want to delay the release a considerable amount, so they're scrambling to get the game into releasable shape by whatever their estimated release date was, or as soon as possible after it.

They also estimated that 0.2 was late to release.... by a month, give or take.

I could understand from a business perspective if they were trying to prioritise having a second cash cow, and didn't see it as them sacrificing PoE 1 so much as them just surging resources into PoE 2. But I do wonder if some players will never return - even if they subsequently "flip the switch" again and PoE 1 content releases abruptly returns to their prior schedule...
