Idea to get a Real PoE2 and not a game like PoE1 but only harder

Hi,

I am a casual PoE Gamer and like both Versions even when I always struggle a little bit.
It's nice that PoE2 is harder than PoE1 so the feeling to get to the Endgame is different but my biggest concern is that the Ascendancy Idea feels like PoE1 with only other Skills and advantages.

One think I really like is that you can't use a support gem twice, only if you have a special Ascendancy. But it seems that you can't really play every skill or every combination because most of the time it's to weak to get through the chapters or there are preferred combinations which you have to select. That's why many players play mainly the same skills with slightly changes. There are only some top players which can play nearly any skill because if you put many currency in your char you can almost play anything. But for a casual player it's not so easy.

Sometimes it's not a problem of the gems but of the skill tree. Did you ever thought about the possibility to change the whole skill tree to a different game experience?

You already changed the start place of the Ascendancies. They all start in the center of the tree even when you can connect only on one side.

From my perspective it would be really a game changer if you would tread every Ascendancy like the Scion. Every Char start from the center and can go in every direction. With this change you could decide to play with HP or Energy Shield, with Evasion or Armor and so on. Yes, you can play it now too but you have to spend so much points that it's only affordable for rich player or you realize too late that you idea is "sh-it" and don't work.

Additional to this change it would be nice if you not only give special abilities and special points for an ascendancy but if you would change (specialize) nodes in the tree for this ascendancy.

As example: if you choose an archer the tree should slightly change nodes to help with projectiles or give a slightly advantage with evasion and less advantage for armor. Then the Ascendancy Points could be real specializations for an archetype. As witch you could get slightly advantages for spells and maybe Energy shield and the skill tree would change slightly with less effect for armor (1-2 points or % less on some nodes) or some nodes would give different things (as witch with specialization for minions maybe HP or ES for them). If you then specialize to Lich as example you should get Advantages for chaos or for a dead army. maybe there could be special points like the gemling with "Gem Studded" or "Integrated Efficiency". Maybe a combination of class and Ascendancy would be possible like a witch but as gemling?

Anyway I hope you understand what my Idea is. I know it will be much harder to implement but would offer more variety. If you need more explanation of the Idea you are welcome to discuss :)
