What kind of d*g sh*t crafting system the recombinator is?

Did something with 5%, 40 combines and none of them succeeded.
If I did weapon recombination it was like 1%, you call this crafting system? Last bumped on May 7, 2025, 2:07:37 AM

While I understand the feeling, when you *do* hit one of those 5% odds you get a very powerful item.
I do believe however that instead of destroying both items on failure, it would be a much better feeling for the player if you got a recombinated item with the wrong modifiers, with one of them being one of the ones you had picked. |

" Not really, no. You get an item with very strong potential You still have to pull the lever at least additional 3-4 times and pray to the god of Chaos you win at least twice. Which is still VERY unlikely. Last edited by LFA01#0120 on May 6, 2025, 12:43:48 PM

" PoE2 crafting is slot machine...what you expect? |
|
" I disagree. This crossbow for example, I'd never get something like that without recombination. ![]() All the mods except for the two I recombinated are super mediocre, but 700 physdamage is (almost) all you need from a weapon. |

" what % was it btw ? just curious. SSF player✔️

The flat phys was a low tier, I think it might have been 12% or something like that (lower tier gives you better odds, but it calculates per mod - a T5 mod of one type might give worse odds than a T7 of another type).

cause when I try to recombo like 130-140+ % physical + 16% attack speed for example it gives me between 3-5%.

It's literally just another slot machine.
I wish GGG devs would make real crafting but instead, shareholder profits and stuff. |

I mean 5% comb, what do u expect? There are some basics u should learn and then it probably is around 20% for top tier mods. Don't try to slap mods on bases that can't hold them |
