New patch: great! But still does not pitch perfect (SSF/Trade compare)

The patch is really good for all leagues, specially for trade.

If you play ssf like me, than it is a little bit worst in compare to trade, as I sit currently on 400 ex and 30 divs, but still only 2 perfect jewellers and 1 lvl 20 gem which I used earlier on my 91&95 chars.



Increasing ex and div drops as well as rare drops makes the game feel more rewarding, but specially in terms of diversity of builds, jewellers should be far more common. (Also lvl 20 gems).



My feedback: make perfect jewellers and lvl20 gems as common as divines, or like 1 jeweller/gem in the time you need for 2 divines.
Or/also: get back to the recipes. Put in 2 or even 3 divines for a jeweller. A jeweller and 2 divines for a gem. And so on.

Still a long marathon, but at least with the feeling, the confidence: it is reachable.

In trade it is simpler to get those desired drops, obviusly, and that is good.

That RNG does not follow the rule "work hard - earn hard" is also obvius, but maybe you could change it a little bit in this directoin.

Thats probably fine because they are usually cheaper than that on trade, maybe outside of very early into the league?

Are you corrupting your 4 sockets for a chance of 5 sockets?

First what I wrote beneath is not a dig on your comment. It is a dig on the game mechanic... So...

I don't know if it is ridiculous or hilarious, the whole "gem system" revamp in PoE 2 was to get rid of the socket "mess" created in PoE 1. So, the genious game design for PoE 2 was to socket on gear not being "relevant" or "chase goals". It started with 2 sockets and the chance to get a third corrupting it. Now there is 4 and a chance for a fifth socket... soon enough it will went back to try 7 or 8 sockets...

PoE 2 game design is a hotmess, they are trying so much to "distancing" themselves from PoE 1 that is getting ridiculous how they are doing things more convoluted than it was in PoE 1.

Bingo.. The desire to run away from what built the company is insane. PoE2 is inferior in every way imo (other than graphics) and they are likely killing PoE1 in the process by essentially abandoning it's league structure.

They mistook the EA support for broad design approval, but the support largely existed because of the reputation they built with PoE1.

I could, I have like 10 or 15 greater jewellers, but is this "the" solution for the main issue?
Build diversity needs many try outs and restarts and so on, for that you need the right currency. In trade that is not a problem, but in ssf, kinda desperated search.
In poe 1 you knew, by collecting enough fus (later many better ways joined this process) you would 6L your item (ofc like everybody also failed like 1-2 times even with 3000 fus...) for sure. Here, all you can do is grind grind grind, like the name sais :|

I think, it needs a second option to get this drops, even target farming did not work out for me.
