Loot drops were improved in quality and quantity, but nothing is dropping that can be sold in trade or used to upgrade existing gear. So the patch just means more gold, which is meaningless. Maybe some of you got a few divines, but I bet you still can't afford the best gear on trade and I promise you, that gear will never drop for you either.
The leveling wall you hit at 89 is just ridiculous, takes forever to level. If you die once it really takes it out of you to try to progress levels with xp penalty and super slow xp gain. The end game is just not satisfying at all. Drops are pointless, I have had to buy every last piece of gear I have from trade. Leveling to max is pointless because by level 91, it would take you too many hours of mindless grinding to gain levels and that is just not fun. Why make level 100 if the majority of players will not have the time to hit max level. Ascending is utterly boring and tedious. Two characters I took to third and couldn't be bothered with the fourth. I finally got one to full ascendancy and guess what, it felt inconsequential for all the time it takes to get that. It's not worth it, its not fun. Boss fights are fun for the first 5-10 times fighting them, but after 20-30 it's a snoozer. I think of this game like an anime character who never unlocks their full potential, just stays mid the whole series. All games have a ceiling, you will get bored of a game eventually no matter how good it is. We hope that at the end of playing a game we can look back and think about how fun, challenging, and rewarding it was, something like Elden Ring or Witcher 3 evokes. This game feels like going to the DMV, it sucks, and when you are done you are glad you don't have to worry about it anymore. Last bumped on May 6, 2025, 1:59:49 AM

As i said in a previous post, the 'trading' part, which is what GGG seems to base everything around, is wrong.
They are never going to reach out to a wider audience as they are trying, without addressing the inability to be able to self sustain, and (this word is a joke, doesnt belong here in this game) 'craft'. The rates on ALL currency needs to go up alot, if they truly want us to engage in the 'crafting'. If not, then most people will never enjoy this experience. But thats for them to decide. GGG - Why you no?

Welcome to supply / demand.
not sellable because there's little buying power. if your drop is that good, you should use it, and if not, that's how it is for most others who are already geared. with more people quitting, there's even less buying power. now, with all the crybabies around asking for more loot, there's even more supply. so where is the problem? -- player retention. league isn't well received for many reasons. if many of my friends refuse to play, its the same for many other people, including streamers. and if streamers dont play, players dont play, because some people are more sheeple than people. what you're facing are simply symptoms of a much greater problem. thats why JR needs people like me around... instead of 'yes-men' of his vision. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL `From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL `What are divs?` Last edited by LiMA6#0387 on May 4, 2025, 9:23:51 PM

Most of the friction in the game I can cope with now. I understand the grinds in grinding gear. The only thing to tune, for me, is the exp. Have death penalty start at lvl 90, -1% and up to -9% at lvl 99. There is enough diminishing returns for level vs waystone tier, that it is a grind. No need to be that punitive until you are closer to the end.
I personally wouldn't care if everyone got to 100 more easily. Then they would be grinding for gear, instead of levels to equip it. |

" I literally made 8 divines this weekend trading rares I picked up off the ground. |

" ?? Sure dude. I should have used the wand I picked up yesterday on my Tactician instead of trading it for 2 divines like what are you even saying? I feel like you are so desperate to find any excuse to slag the game off that you're not even worried about making any sense at this point. |
|
" it shouldn't be hard to understand the context. 'is it something someone would buy with this much supply in the market' 'are there enough players who would want +6 wand' 'are there enough spell players this league at all' 'are people still playing even' 'a lot of people dislike this league and have quit, will i find a buyer for this wand in a league of LSers' and if you actually manage to sell for 2 divs for a max rolled wand you should be upset about it than happy. because i know for a fact that, +max gem wands + some bonus aren't worth squat this league. and if you still dont acknowledge that theres an oversupply of everything, you're simply in denial because for one, its week4, and week4 of any league is where oversupply happens. its just far more noticeable this league than others. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL

" Listen man, all I'm saying is that I'm selling random map drops left and right - just sold some boots for 1D that I picked up out of the dirt earlier. I'm not sure what you think I'm in denial about. The economy seems a lot healthier now than it was this time last league. Also -- just to be clear I never said anything about a "max rolled wand." The wand didn't even have +skills on it and none of the damage rolls were max. So no, I wasn't upset to sell it for 2 divines. ![]() Last edited by Kerchunk#7797 on May 6, 2025, 2:10:20 AM
