Maybe it's worth reading the message the game shows you in the middle of screen the first time you get to boss checkpoint in a league in place of mindlessly pressing 'ok' and skipping it.


It says something like "if you die on the boss, you lose your map, but you can still respawn to try to kill boss untill you have no attempts(respawns) left".
Read as: clean map, pick up loot, end up with killing boss - in case if you not sure you can handle boss.
