Hidden Grotto Boss

I have fought this guy many times and I hated it every single time. I can't tell what he's going to do most of the time and every single one of his skill oneshots me. On top of that he also fills the arena with fire degen leaving little if any space to dodge, and my grenades occasionally falling into the pit doesn't help either. Maybe all of that was just me having skill issues and if so I'm sorry.

same here bro
Same, hidden grottos and the other map he shows in are empty nodes as far as I'm concerned. Along with everything you mentioned instilling the map makes the fire basically invisible.
Is the boss Zar Wali? (The boss in Dehsar?)
It's just a "skill/knoweldge issue"

For this boss, I like to stay on his back (quite literally too) at all times.
When he twists and turns, he will do a backward slam. That's when, I get out the way moving clockwise throughout the arena.

The goal is to position myself behind the bosses back while rotating clockwise most of the time to get their (which is the direction I move to avoid his hand slam attack) .

If you ever want to learn a boss, just fight a lower version of it (e.g. from campaign.
But dont kill it (use weak weapons) and just observe their patterns/animations and work out their moveset.

This is simply wrong. You will not outskill the broken hitbox, that makes skill randomly fail to hit the boss. Hugging his back is the way to get the backslap which is easily one of his fastest and most damiging attacks, which also happens to be one of the two attacks along with the swipe, where even if you dodge it the game has the propensity to stutter step you back into it because of the weird desynch issue that happens with moving while melee attacking. And no "knowledge" stacking will help me see the burning ground completely covered by delirium mist before stepping in it.
It's like telling someone that the colossus becoming randomly unforgettable until he moves is a resistance issue.

Edit: Here's a vid of what I mean....https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2457468695
Edit2: And since you mentioned Zalmarth....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t3K8eX0-pk

I didn't think my post was not clear...you bait out that exact back attack and dodge out of it. That is exactly what I am suggesting. And it is not fast. He has a unique animation where he positions erect, twists, and slams backwards. During that long telegraph, you get out the way and position again behind his back.

The game has this weird hatbox collision pushing thing going on that shows itself clearly in this boss fight, but you will not get damaged by that attack regardless of the collusion.

My point is, just because you can play around it, doesn't mean you should be required to. The boss is clearly broken in multiple obvious ways and in need of a fix.
my monk died 2 times in same map on this boss, which can deathless complate simulacrum (tier1)

basicly i cant manage a melee hit

Yeah I'm talking about the boss in maps, but not at any specific difficulty level. But in case you wonder, at the time I made this post I was doing t15+1 with +3 to map boss difficulty.
