Adamant Recovery Doesnt do what it says in English, needs Rewording

Either this passive skill tree node is bugged or its completely worded wrong. Since the beginning this has been reported and talked about.

I thought after this patch it might work.


No it just increases my recharge per second.

Many find it useless/skip it.

Its says "Increases and reductions to armour also apply to Energy Shield."
"Recharge rate at 40% of their value"

People believe that %increases to armor would apply and give energyshield a % boost also.

What i believe it does is;

You gain Recharge per second equal to 40% of the total increased armor%.

That makes sense. I can tell its avoided and ppl warn others about it in various forums.

Some stats descriptions are too long to fit on one line, so they get broken up. The break shouldn't lead to situations where the resulting lines could be read as a separate stat.

Recharge Rate at 40% of their value doesn't make sense on its own. How can "rate" be recharged? And what is "their" referring to?

The first line though Increases and Reductions to Armour also apply to Energy Shield may seem standalone. So you say the second line is not weird enough, and some players read them separately.

How about this?

We usually read from the top down. Since the first line is obviously incomplete, the next line is naturally treated as a continuation. This variant should be clear.

I appreciate everything you said and your input. You brought up key points about the wording.

I think to be less confusing to the masses they need to start the initial wording with

"Energy shield recharge rate is increased or decreased by"

That way theres no confusion and they realize its about energyshields recharge rate upfront.
