Loading Screens

Loading screens in-between waypoints or areas are really long and terrible. It breaks immersion, and is boring af. Just reporting this because I'm not sure if its intended or not.

HDD or SSD?

edit. after seeing your responses in my other post, I realize i have both and POE2 is not installed on the ssd because I dont have space.

Yea, i responded in other thread. I'm going to bet 99%, this is the cause of your frustration.

well sorry but this have nothing to do with HDD and SSD in a small game like this....

you can be on dial up and still load 30X faster
its server stability issue


i have 1 of the fastest Nvme and still takes 15 to 1 min to load in a map or town or even longer in hideouts because the server cant load objects faster as of now.

thats why sometimes ull try to buy something from someone and ull see [loading] for 5 minutes
because people still try to decorate with 50,000 items in a instable server based Beta game

also its worst on weekends and certin hours of the night/day when more people are in the server

so even if you uninstall and install on SSD you wont notice much diff when its a server causing the issue

SSD / NVME loading times is always calculated based on {OFFLINE} games receiving Data from CPU/GPU to --->Drive

in Online its SERVER to --->CPU/GPU to --->DRIVE

please dont rely on people giving wrong internet information without knowing a thing about this

in otherwords... if a server can not send the data faster to your PC, then your SSD wont make it any faster..

POE1 was the same exact thing in its first days. now everything is instant. and half its gamers arnt even on Cable lol

sounds like you're high on yourself. As stated, SSD does INDEED give better performance. Always. Its that simple. Fool.

Not to disregard there is other issues, but, installed on an HDD shouldnt even be a thing these days. If you're serious about your game... It should have been step 1.
