If you portal after defeating Doryani it sends you to Cruel and deletes all loot on the ground

I had a full inventory when killing Doryani, he dropped loot I wanted to pick up so I portaled back to town and it instead sent me to the Beach even though the portal said Ziggurat encampment. Boss loot gone and unrecoverable.
