Thoughts on 2G patch

The loot feels more plentiful in higher "rarity". However, most of the loot itself feel like it's not even worth looking at.
Loot modifiers on Tier 3+ items really need to be adjusted. It would also be nice if any future rolls on Tier items were better too. Damage and survivability are still in a bad state for 90% of builds that a casual player or experimenting player would try without using a build guide. Loot bandaid feels like a placebo, but at least it will staunch the bleeding while you take the bullet out of the wound. You bring up some good points, but what I’d like to see is why GGG is ‘hiding’ loot drop tiers in the API.
An unidentified item drops in game says on it that’s it’s tier 5 yet Neversink filters can’t distinguish it from a tier 1….why??? (ALL typos lack of caps, punctuation and general errors are copyright Timbo Industries - Laziness Division)

Oh another thing.
Make uniques drop more often and make 80% of the trash uniques usable at least. |

How can you complain about the loot being better?
I said to my wife, when this patch dropped, "I bet you people complain anyway". Thanks for proving me right. |

As much as I don't like recombination right now, I am hoping the later crafting systems bring some good results. I know there is a lot to go.
I like the drops now. I am sure some downtuning will be happening since it may be 'too good' when heavily invested. I think diminishing returns should be done, not cutting everything down. |
